why is physical activity important for your child?
Physical activity is critical for your child's growth and development! Being active improves your child's mental health, reduces chronic disease, and helps them grow up healthy and happy!
How much Activity is enough? Most children aren't getting the amount of physical activity they need!
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that children and adolescents including ages 6-17 years old complete at minimum 60 minutes of moderate or vigorous levels of physical activity daily. These activities can include anything your child loves: walking, running, biking, dancing, or even just playing outside! |
You and your child can be active and involved right here in Greenville!
